About Mary Curran.

Mary Curran is the founder of the Centre for Professional & Personal Development. She is one of Ireland's first and most experienced Coaches, Coach Mentors and Coach Supervisor with almost 20 years full-time in the profession. Mary qualified in Ireland and in Coachville USA in Coaching.

Among her many qualifications, Mary holds the following:

Master Coach - LBCAI in Ireland.
Accredited Executive Coach with the Association for Coaching.
Supervisor for coaches in Advanced Supervision, University of Middlesex.

Mary has two core passions that define her professional life:

Passion for helping people move "from great to brilliant" - whatever their background, and "from powerlessness to powerfulness" - complemented by a jargon-free, down to earth approach.
Passion for the profession of coaching.

Mary is the:

She has been responsible for mentoring and training many of Ireland's best coaches and positively impacting the careers and businesses of hundreds of individuals through coaching.

Mary works with Individuals, Business Owners, Managers and groups, where she develops personal and leadership strengths, utilizing various coaching techniques and psychometric tools. Mary's coaching interventions have been instrumental in preparing senior managers to become partners.

Mary also contributed to media features on personal excellence and coaching, including Stellar magazine and Ireland AM.

Mary sits on a Panel for the Provision of Staff Wellbeing, Training and Development Services at the University College Cork, Ireland. Prior to becoming a Coach, Mary had an entrepreneurial and marketing background, having set up and managed Pavlova Pantry, an Australian style restaurant business which she ran successfully for 9 years and for which she won the ESB Innovative Business Ideas Competition in 1988.
